From 1st January 2016 repeat prescriptions will be ready for collection in 48 hours from the surgery and 72 working hours if sent to a pharmacy.
To order a repeat prescription:
Hand in your computer slip with required items ticked and indicate if you wish to collect it yourself or which chemist you designate to do so. A box sits at reception for slips to avoid you waiting. In difficulty, or if elderly or housebound, please telephone the prescription line (888688) to speak to a receptionist or leave a message on the answer machine. Please have your list ready to give them and indicate which chemist (if you wish it to be uplifted).
The prescription line is open from 9.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. on a Monday to Friday. Outwith these hours an answer machine will be available 24 hours per day 7 days per week. Please allow 48 hours for prescriptions collected at surgery and 72 hours for prescriptions at the chemist.
You can now order repeat prescriptions online. Patients will need to register with the practice before you are able to use this service. The receptionst will give you the pin and access ID’s which are required to enable you to register for this service. Please bring photographic ID with you to the practice to enable you to register for this service.
